Here is the the view from our "Jefferson Cam" on a clear day. The slope to the left is Reas Peak (9,371 ft).
The very top of Mt. Jefferson (10,203 ft.) can be seen on the right side of this camera angle.
Winchester Lodge is within yards of the Centennial Loop Trail and only a few miles from several of the most popular ways into Reas Peak
and Mount Jefferson (2 miles west to Blue Creek, 7 miles west to Willow Creek or 5 miles northeast to Tyler/Yale Creek).
